Abstract
Anemia is a condition where there is a decrease in the amount of erythrocyte mass as indicated by a decrease in hemoglobin and hematocrit levels. Many cases of anemia are associated with several examination parameters, including Hemoglobin (Hb) and Blood Sedimentation Rate (ESR). The two-way relationship between Hb and ESR has been widely proven that anemia can influence the results of the Hb and ESR parameters. Objective: To find out whether there is a relationship between hemoglobin levels and erythrocyte sedimentation rate in anemia patients in the Vania Bogor Hospital laboratory. Method: This research is a descriptive type of research with a cross-sectional design. The population of this study was 28 female anemia patients. The data analysis used in this research is the Chi Square statistical calculation technique. Results: this study shows that there is a correlation between hemoglobin levels and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate in anemia patients, with a significance value of 0.016 (p<0.05), the average hemoglobin level examination result is 9.7 g/dl, and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate value is 31 mm/hour. The conclusion from the results of this study is that there is a relationship between hemoglobin levels and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate in anemia patients.

| Additional Information: | Anemia merupakan keadaan dimana terjadi penurunan jumlah massa eritrosit yang ditunjukkan oleh penurunan kadar hemoglobin dan hematokrit. Banyak kasus anemia dikaitkan dengan beberapa parameter pemeriksaan, diantaranya Hemoglobin (Hb) dan Laju Endap Darah (LED). Hubungan dua arah antara Hb dan LED telah banyak dibuktikan bahwa anemia dapat mempengaruhi nilai hasil pada parameter Hb dan LED. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan kadar hemoglobin dengan laju endap darah pada pasien anemia di laboratorium RS Vania Bogor. Metode: penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 28 pasien anemia berjenis kelamin Perempuan. Analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Teknik perhitungan statistic Chi Square. Hasil: penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara kadar hemoglobin dengan laju endap darah pada pasien anemia, dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.016 (p<0.05), rata-rata hasil pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin adalah 9.7 g/dl, dan nilai laju endap darah adalah 31 mm/jam.
