GAMBARAN PEMERIKSAAN D-DIMER PADA PASIEN COVID–19 DI PERAWATAN ICU RSPAD GATOT SOEBROTO JAKARTA TAHUN 2021

In laboratory studies, researchers studied platelet aggregation (clumping), an important component of blood coagulation, and observed that platelets from Covid-19 patients aggregated more easily. From the research results, the researchers found that the Corona virus (SARS-CoV-2) triggers drastic genetic changes in platelets in the blood. The purpose of this study was to describe D-dimer levels in COVID-19 patients at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital in 2021. The research design used a descriptive research method. The data used in this research is primary data. Primary data was obtained by examining, noting D-dimer levels examined in COVID-19 patients treated in the RSPAD ICU. Data were collected, processed, and collected based on the normal distribution and high D-dimer levels, based on the distribution of age groupings, and based on the distribution of comorbid diseases. The results of this study, from D-dimer examination in confirmed COVID-19 patients treated in ICU RSPAD Gatot Soebroto Jakarta in the period 1 February-1 March 2021, it was concluded that of the 36 patients examined, 33 patients (91.66%) had increased D-dimer levels. dimer. As well as 3 patients (8.34%) there was no increase in D-dimer levels. obtained normal D-dimer results in COVID-19 patients who did not have comorbid diseases in 3 people (8.33%) and high D-dimer results in COVID-19 patients who did not have comorbid diseases in 33 people (91.67%) . It is recommended for future researchers to develop research by adding the treatment or therapy being carried out, the time period and other examination parameters related to testing COVID-19 patients so that better research results can be obtained.
